The Langkawi Cable Car, also known as SkyCab, is one of the island’s most iconic attractions. This breathtaking gondola ride takes visitors from the Oriental Village at the foothills of Machinchang Mountain up to the majestic peak of Gunung Machinchang. Spanning approximately 2.2 kilometers (1.4 miles), the journey offers stunning panoramic views and takes about 15 minutes each way. At the Top Station, you’ll be elevated to around 708 meters above sea level, where sweeping views of Langkawi’s lush rainforests, islands, and Andaman Sea await.
